The short version
- 30 days from delivery to return or exchange.
- It must be unworn, unwashed and still have its tags.
- Size exchanges are free within Australia — we cover the return postage once.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days of the hoodie arriving back.
Starting a return
Email spacehoodz@gmail.com with your order number and whether you want a refund or a different size. You will get a reply with the return address and, for Australian exchanges, a prepaid label.
Please do not post anything back before you have heard from us — it makes it much harder to match up.
Exchanges
If the size is wrong, we will swap it for another size in the same product, subject to stock. Within Australia the first exchange is free both ways. International exchanges are possible but you cover the return postage, and we will post the replacement at our cost.
If the size you want has sold out — which happens, because runs are small — we will refund you in full instead.
Faulty or wrong item
If something arrives damaged, defective, or is simply not what you ordered, email us with a photo within 7 days of delivery. We will replace it or refund you in full, including postage, and you will not be asked to pay to send anything back.
This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not limited by anything on this page. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality.
What we cannot take back
- Anything worn, washed, altered, or missing its tags.
- Anything that comes back smelling of smoke, perfume or a night out.
- Anything returned more than 30 days after it was delivered.
If a return arrives in that condition we will contact you and post it back at your cost.
Refund timing
Once your return lands with us it is inspected the same or next business day, and the refund is issued within 5 business days. From there it is up to your bank — card refunds usually appear in 3–10 business days, PayPal is usually faster.
Original shipping charges are not refunded unless the item was faulty or wrong.
Sale and discounted items
Items bought with a discount code are returnable on exactly the same terms. The refund is for what you actually paid.

Message us — it is quicker than guessing, and nobody here is trying to talk you out of a return.
